Max Bibo`s Delicatessens in Wethersfield

The customer is NOT always right! Went in today with my husband for lunch, we noticed a special on the board for a lobster salad sandwich with your choice of side for $7.99. We both ordered it... First of all there was no choice of side, they gave us coleslaw without even asking (I can get past that) then we paid. As soon as we sat down my husband says "I think they over charged us" so he got up and looked at the sign again to confirm his suspicion. It said $7.99 clearly. So when he told the woman at the register she told him the sign was wrong and asked if we still wanted our sandwiches? Who does that? She should have just offered to give him the $10 back that she overcharged us! We won't be back any time soon!!! Very disappointing!

Used to order lunch frequently here, had issues and the manager lied to cover up and then said "I don't know what to tell you" Save yourself time and go to D&D market where they appreciate regular customers and their sandwiches are 2 to 3 times the size for the same price.

My first time in the place. I'm a big fan of breakfast. I saw online that they had breakfast sandwiches, so that's where I went. I was expecting some thing that was made in a pan, or on a grill with fresh bread. What I got? A hard roll from a bag that was factory sealed. Eggs that were scrambled in a plastic dish and then microwaved. A girl behind the counter that cracked an egg with her gloved hands, then proceeded to touch and slice my microwaved sandwich with that same glove! First and probably last time there. If I wanted to pay $5 for a microwave breakfast sandwich, I would have just gone to Dunkin.

Max Bibo's is a great place to go for Breakfast or Lunch. They have a huge deli with over 10 different breads and rolls, and they'll make any sandwich you want as long as they have the ingredients. They also have a great selection of sides and other items like potato salad, tuna pasta and more.Inside, the restaurant is super clean, and the staff is friendly. They have a mix of tables and counters around the edges with views through big windows of the outside.

Said they were hiring. Applied in person. Tried to call & the lady on the phone was extremely rude. Didn’t want to put the manager on the phone. After i continuesly asked about 4/5 times. absolutely horrible. I Promise i will never eat here.

Perfect place for quick lunch. Food is amazing.

Expensive for what you get. Sandwiches on the board for 8.50 rang up at 10.99, came with a pickle, that's it.

Got a hot pastrami with mayo and tomato on rye. Absolutely delicious. Fresh as fresh could be. I can see other people know about it. It's busy, my first time. Very nice, pleasant staff.Love it.

Stopped in for lunch and I have to say I was very impressed. I got a roast beef sandwich on a portugese roll and it was fantastic.

I love max bibos they are awesome for a quick lunch or very platters are amazing i recomend the wrap platters and there mirriored trays

The sandwich was fantastic. I ordered capicola on rye. The service was very quick, but the whole system for taking orders seems very disorganized.

High-priced and just so-so food. Not returning.

Max Bibo's is a great casual place to go for lunch - whether it is to dine there or take-out. Staff are always friendly and courteous. The restaurant is always very clean too.. Sandwiches are made with very fresh quality ingredients. Soups and salads are also equally good. I have dined at three of their locations: Wethersfield, Trumbull Street and Weston Street (both in Hartford). The food is consistent among their locations. Service is prompt and Max Bibo's offers a good value and is an excellent option to the chain restaurants. Keep up the good work.

Very open atmosphere. Busy at lunch hour. Best place for a grinder or sandwiches. My favorite is the roasted chicken on a Portuguese roll, With roasted peppers, Munster cheese, onion, lettuce, tomato and pesto mayo... AMmmmmazing
